SQL query to get column values horizontally 1

Hi all,
I have a table with the following fields.

a 10
a 20
a 30
a 40
b 10
b 20
c 30.

i want the output as

a 10 20 30 40
b 10 20
c 30

do we have any SQL query to do this.
