Hi, brand new user (very limited sql knowledge!!)

Can someone help me to download the following please. I have tried to find the download links but have had no joy as yet.

MyODBC-3.51.11.1.msi

Also when I do the following in Excel:

Data | Import External Data | New Database Query

It opens a Choose Data Source window but MySQL Databases* is not listed.

I'm trying to follow the instructions in the 'SQL in easy steps' book by Mike McGrath (1-84078-296-X) but I can't seem to get the above work 2 problems fixed.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

James

You will want to ask in the MySQL forums. This forum is for Microsoft SQL Server. MySQL is a different product.
