Our SQL admin shut down my epo3 database because he said it was not releasing resources after connections were terminated and affecting all other databases hosted on the server. He said this is usually due to 'poorly designed databases'.

Anyone else had this kind of problem??? Can I go slap him?

Yep slap him. He shouldn't shutdown databases without informing the owner first. He maybe an SQL expert but his a pr*ck.

He should've looked at the problem more closely before shutting it down.

Is he really an SQL expert or someone just pretending to be one? :)

I have not seen any of these problems and we have almost 4000 agents.

If he's like our SQL Admin, I would slap him back to his country of origin.
