We recently had to rebuild our SQL server and restored our databases but did not restore the master, model or msdb.

The databases show the users but they don't work. Is there something missing? Is there a stored procedure to relink these users?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need the logins on the server and they need to be mapped to the users in the database.

See sp_fixuserslogin (or something like that).

Or drop all the users from the databases and add them again.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
