SQL Package on AS400

Hi. I suppose this is the best place to ask this question. I mostly user SQL Server, so I'm dumb when it comes to some of these things.

Anyways, I have a couple SQL packages in my test library. Is it OK to delete these things...and will it have any adverse affects on my tables?

I was thinking that an SQL package (as implemented in OS/400) IS a library. Is this NOT correct? I may be suffering delusions here...

Sorry, that's a Collection not a Package. Never mind...

I think it's something that contains cached execution plans for sql statements that are used over and over again.
