Sql Override in Report Studio

Hi:
Is it possible to do Sql query Override in Cognos Report Studio.

I want to write and test my sql query in the database editor and then copy and paste it in report studio.

Is it possible to do it Report studio.
I see the SQL/MDX option in Report Studio but cannot make it to work.

Hey Guys :

I got this resolved and want to share,in case others need.

To use your own database query in Report studio. You should set the Query processing property of your database (in frame work manager)to "Limited Local".

In Report studio, your can write your own query, by creating a new query and copying your query in SQL. Validate the query and associate your query with the format you desire like List,Cross tab etc.
