SQL OPTIMIZED ADAPTER for IM

I am using IM for inventory items and transactions. I want to know how to get info on SQL optimized adapters, how to get hold of them and use them. I tried searching IM manual as well as Customer source for these but found no info. Please point me in the right direction so I can learn, get hold of and use SQL OPTIMIZED ADAPTERS. Also how do i get hold of mode adapters for IM. THanks

If you look in the IM\Help\Documentation folder, there should be a SQLOPTProvider.pdf file. It should also be on the GP Disk as well.
