I'm trying to set up an ODBC link between an SQL server and an AS 400. I have created an ODBC link from the client access CD, and successfully connected via MS Access. However, if I try via SQL server data transformation services, the link just fails with a nondescript error message. I get an error if I try and connect from MS Excel too -

SQL0104 - Token * was not valid. Valid tokens : ( <IDENTIFIER>.

There is no more information.

Has anyone else seen this message, or been able to do what I am trying to do successfully ?

Regards,
