To group database fields within a table without the limits imposed by Crystal Group, I wrote a Stored Procedure. And I scrupulously kept the difference between 'int' for numeric codes and 'money' for financial totals in pounds and pence.
When Crystal picked up this data, however, it treated everything as 'number' . I've defined 'number' as whole-number since my reports use many numeric codes. I can change the fields individually, of course, but I'd have expected it to keep my values . Is there some better method? Madawc Williams
