We are using SQL Mail to send email out of Great Plains.

SQL mail is configured, and testing the connection tests ok. When I send the message out of GP, the email shows up in Outlook in the "Inbox" with the message being unsent. I can manually "Send" the message, but the message will not automaticaly send itself. I am running Outlook 2000 version 9.0.0.2xx.

The messages need to automaticly process when they hit outlook. Our company uses Lotus Notes and we do not have a pop3 system setup in our network. Any suggestions?

Thanks

It is showing up in the "Inbox" and labeled as Not Sent? I know this is a dumb question BUT ... is it not in the OutBox?

Please list your commands that you are using to send these emails. Maybe we can see something in the way you are forming your commands.

Thanks

Yes, I thought it was weird that the emails were showing up in the "Inbox" of Outlook. I am not "sending" any commands that I am aware of. Great Plains is sending the commands through "Business Alerts" and GP uses SQL Mail to handle email. They just show up in the Inbox and wait to manually be sent.
