SQL 'LIKE' command in Access

Trying to use the sql like command in Access but its not returning values I'm looking for- I think its the wildcard I'm trying to use. In sql I would write.

Select *
from <table> a
where a.<field> like 'U.S.%'


 
Could you post the solution please? Therefore this thread is beneficial to other people as well! :p
 
Th0r0n - the wild card in Access is "*"

Where A.Field LIke "US*"
