I have a windows 2003 server with SQL instances running on both hard drives C & D. However, Only the instances on drive C show in services.msc as MSSQL$InstanceName.

How can I add the instances that are on D?

Thanks.

Are you sure they aren't showing? On the D drive, did you use the default for the instance or did you actually give it a name?

If you used the default, then that will show up as:

MSSQLServer

-SQLBill

I used the default for the D:\, and therefore it is was - MSSQLServer.

Thanks (once again) SQLBILL!
