SQL Installation failed

I'm trying to install MS SQL 7.0 on a Windows NT 4.0 Server with service pack 5.
For some reason the setup stop running when it try to install MS DAC. The error code is "-2147023829".
I tried the installation in two different servers, with same results.
Any tip or help with this problem?

Try installing the MDAC components alone. This may solve the problem.

The installation program should be called mdac_typ.exe. If you can't find it on the install CD, download version 2.5 from Microsoft. Don't download and install version 2.6! Terry
