? SQL in collab rules scripts

Using Monk on 4.5.3 was wondering if there is a way to perfom a db select in a collab without using Oracle eWay or DART?

Example
source data is cccddd-fff to get data for the destination would need to do a query on external db to get the appropriate value for the destination field?

If by chance anyone could provide a screen print of a collab doing something similiar this would be bonus
