SQL grabbing data from AS400

I am running Data Transformation Services to grab data from a table on an AS 400, via ODBC. I can make a good connection to the AS 400, and see the data using Access or Excel.
I run the package via the SQL agent. The first time it runs, all is OK. The second and subsequent times, however, I get a lot of duplication in the data. There is no duplication in the AS400 table. Only the first 25% or so is duplicated !

I am now very confused, and would appreciate some help here.

I run SQL 2000 personal edition on XP to trial this before putting it on the production server.

Bart, I am not sure exactly what you are doing, but it sounds like you are reimporting data that has already been imported from your last job. Can you provide more details. Is the table you are importing from contain entirely new data each time, or you only trying to import new data. What about the destination table? Is it emptied before each job, or are you continually adding to it?
