SQL did not install

I am trying to install MM on a second MAS and add it to the voice mail domain. After the install on MAS2, I discovered that SQL did not install, so I cannot start the MAS service since it is dependent on the SQL service - which does not exist. Anyone know of a way to install SQL on a MAS? KB 01088914 has some mis-information.
 
what type of MM and is it Avaya servers or CP?

So you are using the DVD's that were used on the first MAS for the installation of the new MAS and you ran the DCT analyze on MAS1 and did not interrupt the install process in any way but it failed to install SQL ?

Not sure but it sounds to me like the install did not complete. if you can post the contents of the mmrep file or look at it ans see if it really did finish.
