Not strictly an Oracle query but since this is a free Oracle tool I hope some one can help.

We are using the latest version
Java™ Platform 1.5.0_06
Oracle IDE 1.2.0.2998

Over a Citrix link, when you open SQL Developer for the first time you are asked to select the type of files it will act as a default for. Normally having accepted this it never appears again.

However, when opening via CITRIX it seems to treat it as a new set up each time. Whatever we do to accept all or none of the file types or just canceling as soon as we click OK SQL developer just hangs.

We have even tried opening SQL Dev directly on the Citrix box, and we do not see the window again, but as soon as we open via Citrix window appears again.

I am hoping that buried somewhere in preferences is a means to switch this off. Does any one know if and where this exists?

Thank you

Ian

Hi,
I suspect that Citrix does not maintain any user profile information between remote sessions, hence no 'memory' of your previous choices..Check with your Citrix administrator..
