HI
I was taught to develope complex queries using Oracle's worksheet or TOAD then cut and paste the query into CR's SQL Designer. This works great for me if the query is very envolved (multiple table joins, sub queries, group by, order by or for reformatting data). I then layout the report in Report Designer. I was taught this is the most efficient method to quickly gather the data, to do as much as possiable in the Oracle DB.
I was recently told this is not the best way to use CR. What do you think about this approach?
Thanks for your advice or oppinions.
