My database grows quite quickly and I have just have had to shrink it using the SHRINK utilty. Can I poss automate this so it is always shrunk auto to its optimum size.

Many thanks

you can create a maintanance plan

“I sense many useless updates in you... Useless updates lead to defragmentation... Defragmentation leads to downtime...Downtime leads to suffering..Defragmentation is the path to the darkside.. DBCC INDEXDEFRAG and DBCC DBREINDEX are the force...May the force be with you" --

You should look up the threads on shrinking a database. It is not recommended.
