I have Server 2003 patched to lastest patches running SQL Server 2005. We were running a new version of a program called SME on this server as a test, everything was working fine. It was time to make program live so i deleted the database and recreated it, and the application works fine when run locally on the server, but when i run it from a workstation with the same credentials, and same connection setup, i recieve an error:
Connecting Database [DBNETLIB][ConnectioOpen (Connect())] SQLServer does not exist or access denied

Then i hit ok, and the program connection settings comeup with all correct settings. I hit ok on that screen and program opens up and seems to run fine. But i can not figure out why i get the inital message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated in adavance...Thank You

Something is saved incorrectly in the settings for that application.
