Hi all
Is there a tool or any way to connect a sql server database from Tru64 box.

Thanks for any help.

You mean a Microsoft SQL Server? What version?

The solution is likely specific to what you're trying to connect with. BTW, what software are you going to use to connect to the database server?

Hi sleipnir214,

Thanks for answer , i want to connect to SQL 7.0 and i am not gomna use any applicaiton yet.Because i only want to run some query by scripting. If it is possible.

vti,

My first reaction to this would be to run Perl, the DBI and DBI's proxy to connect to the SQL/Svr db from any other box. If you're not happy with Perl maybe you can get an ODBC driver (client, in other words) for your tru64 box so that you can connect that way. Mike
