SQL Compare tool

Greetings,

Has anyone had any experience using a third party tool called SQL Compare?

It claims that it can sync dbs, automate db comparisons, etc. without needing manual scripting, etc. Is this really worth it?

I've seen that MS does have the SQL Web Data Administrator tool which appears to be able to do some things similar.

Bottom line is that I'd like to know if the tool is worth the investment?

I use SQL Change Manager by Idera at my current company I have used SQL compare in the past. The Idera tool IMHO is much better. And it has been more than worth the investment. Having either one of these tools makes life much easier.
