SQL Can't connect

We have a serious problem. Machine:

W2K Domain Controller (Backup) SP4
Citrix Metaframe
SQL 2K + SP3
Just Updated to most recent Windows Updates
Ent Man connects fine
As does SQL Query Analyser et al.
But Service Manager won't (
Gives: An error 2 (Can't connect to server) file not found
)
And our key in house software fails to get data
But on all other machines the software works as required... only on this DOmain Controller

Anyone?

Reapply SQL Server Service Pack 3.

Thanks Bill, but problem solved. Turned out reinstalling MDAC (though I installed latest verion 2.8) solved the problem.
I think the Updates I downloaded must have corrupted the MDAC files or one of them, anyway.
