I'm backing up sql using sql agent. My full backup captures all databases however when I do an incremental backup using Differential - Back up database or filegroup changes only. Im not getting any files backed up even thought there have been changes to the data in the database. Does anyone know what Im doing wrong? Thanks

Check to see if have it set to backup the master database. If memory serves me correct BE cant backup the master. Another thing to check is if it is set to back up using VSS or not.

Use SQL Management Studio to backup SQL to disk. Then use BE to backup those flat files. So many advantages.
