We have a database created in SQL. We link tables into Access for users to input data. There is a new field added
and in Access it should be "yes/no" data type. I am not sure which data type I should put in SQL (don't see yes/no); for now I put in "Binary".

However, in Access, I couldn't change it to yes/no to get the check box. And I am trying to put in something(0 or1) in that field in SQL, it says "can't edit this cell".

What should I do?

Advice needed - I want to take "database design" class (not necessary Access or certain db, just fundamental). I am in
Washington, DC metro area (MD, NorthernVA). Any good training vendors for that?

Thanks.
