SQL agent versus BAOF

Hi,
Do i need to have SQL backup agent on Arcserve V9.0 to backup SQL databases or BAOF is enough? What are the advantages of having SQL in this case. I tried to get the answer from CA, but they just gave more of advertisement advice as oppose of technical.

If you want to backup SQL use the SQL agent simple as that. The SQL agent uses the SQL API to get the data and tell SQL it has been backed up it.

Use OFA only if there is no specific database agent for the database you are backing up.
