Hi Folks
Got a problem restoring an MSSQL DB to a different server.
Backup was taken on ArcServe2000 (ver 7 build 1086) with SQL Agent ver 7.1 Bld 375. This backs up the db to tape as dbasql70\<dbname>.
I'm trying to restore the db to a different server which has ArcServe2K ver 7.0 bld 1100 with SQL Agent 7.1 bld 400. This wants to restore the db as dbasql@MSSQLSERVER.
Immediately after activating the job we get a job failure with "error E8061 Agent <server>\dbasql70 does not exist"
Does this mean the SQL Agents have to be the same version on each machine? I can't believe that would be the case.
Thoughts and advice would be appreciated.
