I just applied SP4 to our un-patched SQL server. It updated MDAC and then when it started to run the 8 Sql scripts it just stopped and I got a message that it couldn’t complete script 1. I restarted the server and did a version query and it shows SP4 applied I think (1026). All the users can still work like normal but I would like to know what is done when these scripts actually run? I restarted SP4 but it just gave the same message. Is it safe to go without executing them? Would there be a path for me searching towards why it wouldn’t run the scripts? many Thanks

Have you looked in the Windows Application Event log? May want to check the System Event log too. Did you have enough room on the disc when the install was attempted? Jsut a few things to look at to get us going.

Thanks
