SQL 7 database backup to multiple physical disks?

Is it possible to backup a single database to multiple physical disks? I am getting close to filling up a drive with backup file, and was wondering if you can span multiple drives with backup. I have looked through online books and other resources and see no specific mention of multiple disks, just free space on disk.

Any thoughts/help would be appreciated.

I have not worked with SQL 7 but this is the way to in SQL2K:

Create multiple backupdevices and create a backup routine that uses each device. This will allow you to backup to multiple files/tapes.

Let me know if the same feature exists in SQL7.
