I have a laptop running win2000. We install the desktop edition of SQL 7.0 and it install fine. Everything seems to work ok, until the system reboots. When you reboot the system and its booting up an error pops up about the SQL 7 install being corrupt. An error about cannot initialize snapin also comes up. What happens is that the Enterprise Manager SnapIn in the registry gets deleted everytime the system reboots. Is there a fix for this that anyone knows about?
Thanx,
