One day I can click on a table within a Database with Enterprise, right click, open table, display all rows and all rows of the table display.

Then one day and forever, I start receiving a query error with no explanantion or reason and it returns me to the enetrprise screen.

If I reinstall SQL on that workstation, I can return to normal functions until some day in the future the query area reappears.

What is teh cause and how can I fix without reinstalling SQL?

This seems to be a known problem in Enterprise Manager not SQL Server. Rebooting the machine where you run EM should fix the problem temporarily.

Installing SQL 7 SP3 may fix the problem permanently.
