Hi all-

Am novice to this issue...

Am installing System Center 2007 Essentials where sql server 2008 is installed (on same box)... having a bit of trouble finding "where" I can configure a second reporting instance for sys center 2008 essentials... apparently the installation fails without it installed.

Is there a decent how-to document.. one googel search brought me to a scaling out process of a second instance but it doesn't seem to work right...

any tips?

thanks in advance

You should be able to just use your existing SSRS instance (assuming you have it installed). If not fire up the SQL 2008 installer and install SSRS and configure it.
