Hi

There doesn't seem to be a forum for 2005(maybe there should be) Don't know if anyone out there is using the Beta version(2) if so do they know how in 2005 you can edit data within a table not using T-SQL previous through EM you could right click and open and amend data easy, that option doesn't seem to exist can't see anyway without using QA

Any ideas?

Is SQL 2005 a SQL Server product? You can recommend to the site management that a new forum be started.

SQL 2005 is the current beta product of the next version of SQL. The beta is currently a closed beta. I would assume that once it's an open beta for the general public we'll get a forum for it.

None of the SQL Server forums I've found here specify a version, they're all just "Microsoft SQL Server". If you've got one forum handling all other versions, why would 2005 be any different?

Hope This Helps!

I would think that seperating SQL 2005 out would be a good idea. SQL 7 and SQL 2000 have the same basic interface, and suffer from the same problems. SQL 2005 is a very different product (from what I understand).

Once more of us take a look at it, I'm sure we can decide if we want to request a 2005 only forum.
