Looking for feedback on 76400 and SQL 2005. Any issues we should be aware of? Did the database maintenance plans from SQL 2000 get updated or did you have to rebuild them?

Don,

On our test platform (non-macola DB's) we had to rebuild the maintenance plans.

Also the EM is a little different to work with.

I have this running in two live environments and the only issue is what Andy stated. EM is a bit different and we had an issue finding the Maintenplan but that was due to the way it was set up, their It guy did not choose that as an option. Functionally it has performed very well and even saw a performance boost. I haven't checked this part out but I believ that you will now have an audit trail on changes made throuh EM. That to me is worth the price of admission all by itself.
