Hi all,

I need quickly locate the equivalent of the Enterprise Manager in SQL 2005. I can't find it through the programs menu. I know it is called Management Studio but I can't see it.

Can anyone tell me the location of the MSC plug in or the exe which runs?

Thanks.

It is very well possible you didn't install the work station components if you do not see it. I believe that only the configuration submenu will show if this is correct.

If MS is not under SQL Server in the programs menu then throw the dick back in the server and go through but selecting workstation components only. This will install BIDS, SSMS etc..

If it was installed, the path would be something like this.

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Binn\VSShell\Common7\IDE\SqlWb.exe

Thanks both, I installed it from the CD and all is well!
