SQL 2005 Transactional replication

This will sound like a silly question but, from a sql admin perspective how can one tell is Transactional (pull subscription) replication is working properly? The 2005 screens look completely different and I want to make sure I didn't miss anything.

From SSMS open the database instance and right click on the replication folder. Select "Launch Replication Monitor". From the monitor you can watch transactions being applied.
