Anyone running SQL 2005 on Windows Server 2008? Does it work ok?

Also, I want to buy SQL 2008 when it comes out, does anyone know if there is a grace period where you can upgrade for free? Seems pointless buying SQL 2005 so close to 2008 release, but I need to buy soon...

Cheers!

No, I haven't had a chance to install yet, but will be doing so shortly.

As for a free upgrade period, Microsoft has never done that in the past, so they probably won't this time.

The only way to get an upgrade for free would be to purchase software assurance when you buy the SQL License which will give you the right to upgrade to SQL 2008 when it is released.
