I've posted a question about SQL 2005 on a DC here thread931-1320753 and am wondering about security issues, is it possible to prevent remote access to a SQL Express instance to increase security. Backup Exec requires an install of SQL to log to but i'm concerned about running it on a DC.

Any advice?

Thanks.

Yes you can setup SQL Express to not accept remote connections. After you install one of the Icons in the start menu will be the Surface Area Configuration Tool. This will allow you to disable remote access.
