So where did DTS go? What do I use in its place in SQL 2005? All I really want to do is import some data from an excel spreadsheet into a SQL table. I could do this in seconds with STD in SQL 2000 but I cannot see where to do this with SQL 2005.

Any insights appreciated.

Since 2005, the functionality to create new DTS packages has been superseeded with SSIS.

Hope this helps
