SQL 2005 and Macola ProgV7.7.100 Random Network error

Just upgraded from 7.6.200 sql 2000 to
7.7.100 sql 2005.

SQL SERVER
32GB mem 2 QUAD 3.16 proc
new server 2003 R2 64bit
2005 sql std 64 bit

APP SERVER
2003 Storage Server

My users all get this general network error randomly that has been discussed in this FORUM several times.

Without knowing it I do have the NICS in all my servers that microsoft acknowledges is a problem with SQL 2005 and referenced in these other two threads. I have disabled the TCP offload feature according to the Microsoft article.

This is very frustrating except for this problem the upgrade was amazing as far as speed increases. Everything works great except for a few bugs that Exact has already fixed with REGEN (SEE THIER JUNE HOTFIXES). And a few more they are working on. Anyone ever figure this out. We write a lot of code ourselves and have no problem at all connecting but we always recreate our connection as opposed to trying to reuse one over and over. I read somewhere in this forum Exact makes one GLOBAL connection and tries to reuse over and over.

I have not been able to duplicate it on my machine. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.
