I am running SQL 2000 SP3 on Windows 2000 Server. I would like to upgrade to Windows 2003 Server.
Has anyone done such an upgrade? If so what problems if any have you run into?

I did this with no problems

We did it just yesterday. No problem, but weird enough I can't open a Query Analyzer from under the database. It just doesn't open. I had to open it separately through Start, Programs and then connect to this SQL Server.

You already have the first hurdle completed by having SQL Server 2000 w/ SP3. That is the only version, until Yukon comes out, that will run on W2003 Server. If you have other apps that are needing to be on the W2003 server, here is a list of compatible ones:

Application Center 2000 SP2
BizTalk 2002 SP1
Commerce Server 2002 SP2
Content Management Server 2001 SP2 and CMS 2002
Exchange Server 2003 (summer 2003)
Host Integration Server 2000 SP1
Internet Security & Acceleration Server 2000 SP1
SQL Server 2000 SP3

A more exhaustive list can be found at:

Thanks
