Hi all,

I have a continuous transactional replication set up of 155 tables from 1 db to another. What's the quickest way to add 1 more table to the list, snapshot and get back up and runnng? I have run a 1 liner sp_addarticle, gone into EM / replication and marked the subscription as reinitialize, but it seems to be copying the whole shbang again.

Is it possible to just add 1 extra table in, snapshot so that table is created / data copied over and good to go for immediate transactional updates?

Thanks for any guidance,

M.

Note to self - don't start doing these things at the end of the day when you've been working on replication solidly for a week already.

I forgot to run an sp_addsubscription for said article. After that everything ran through as expected with the snapsht generating just 1 table and disty agent copying the data over for that 1 table too.

Thanks,

M.
