2 servers, 1 running Win2K3 Server & the other XPPro. The 2K3 server has SQL2000 Standard (full database goodies) installed. The XPPro has SQL2000 Client Tools only installed. I'm trying to apply SP3a to both of these and they are both "stuck". When I check the sqlsp.log file for both the last line reads: 12:32:23 C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\MICROS~1\SQLDEB~1\SQLDBR~1.EXE sqldbreg2.exe -RegServer. It's now been going for almost 3 hours. Task Manager shows the processes as running. This happened on a server earlier today (XPPro) and it hung for about an hour but finally completed. Any thoughts on what is hanging it up?
