I have installed Microsoft SQL Server 2000 in a server running Windows 2003 Server operating system.

I am pretty sure that the date format setting for the Windows OS is in the form of DD/MM/YYYY. However, the 'Net Send' messages from the SQL agent jobs shows that the date format in the SQL 2000 is MM/DD/YYYY instead.

What must I do to force the SQL to adopt the date format set in the Windows operating system ?
