Guys,

I've been looking through several sites and can't seem to find a specific script that I am sure I have seen before.

Does anyone have / know of a script that could be run on a server to compile a script that would give the login name the equivalent of sp_grantdbaccess (multiple databases), roles, and permissions to whatever objects (tables procs etc.) for each of the databases as well?

Probably a blonde moment, but it is friday....

TIA for any input

M

Thanks Mart,

I know about that one but it just adds the login back in and grants db access. I am trying to find something that does those 2 AND aplies any permissions to tables and stored procs in any databases that the user had access before. For example, the user might be a member of 4 out of 9 databases and have sPECIFIC rights to tables a b and c in DB1, table 2 in DB" and tables 7 9 and 44 in DB3 only. I want to try to scr4ipt out the whole thing rather than using rev login and right click / script perms on a database.....

Cheers,

M.
