Hi All,

I have a security question. I hope someone here
can help me.

Is there a way to encrypt a connection between a
web sever and a SQL server?

-Angel

Hi

You can use SSL encryption. Have a look in BOL under the index tab, SSL, data encryption.

You can also find some info on the net about SSL. I've never implemented it but from what I understand all you do is configure a SSL certificate on the server.

Hope this helps

John

John,

Thank you for the help my friend.

John,

Another stupid question...What do you mean by "BOL?"
Thank you.

Books on Line. The help file included with SQL Server it is also available on the web.
