When I enter my parameters to connect to the SP I want (SQL 2000 DB) I get the following error - Query Engine Error: '22018:[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] Syntax error converting the nvarchar value '%' to a col of data type int.

This occurs when I try to add the SP as a data source 0 ie it has nothing to do with anything I have tried to set up in the Report

Can anyone help?

I am running the same values i enter in CR into Query Analyser and it runs fine - is this an issue with CR9?

Thanks,
Tom

Hard to say...

What are the parameter types?

What are you passing?

It sounds like a connectivity problem, so you might try OLE DB, I can't recall if CR 9 supplied a Native connection or ODBC driver for SQL Server, if so, use it instead.

It sounds like either the parameters or elswhere a CAST or CONVERT is being used in the SP which is failing, but if it runs in SQL Server, then it sounds like a driver error.
