How can I be sure that my SQL 2000 Enterprise server is using all four processors in my server?

By default the server automatically will use all available procs on the server. TO check or modify this you can in EM:

1)Right Click on the server name and select Properties
2)Go to the processor tab

If all processors listed are checked then they are all being used.

If for some reason others items run on the server and your gettig performance issues or the server is locking up you can unselct processors to be used. If you need to do this you should typically do it to proc 0 as this is the proc many windows processes have affinity for.
