Hello everyone!

We are facing a problem of installing MS SQL 2000 Enterprise Edition on a clustered windows 2000 advanced server. It says "Setup failed to perform on clustered node.
We did everything that's possible based on microsoft requirements,we did a lot of research and troubleshooting!
One thing I noticed from the sqlstp.log file is that there was an error that the file remsetup.ini was missing! We ran SQL setup from the CD-ROM.

Thanks

Try this:

Also try turning off all your virus software during the install.

I have a strange cluster install that will only work if I use the 'B' node as my start point. I don't know why, the two nodes are identical as far I as I can see, but at least it works so it might be worth a try.
