Hi,
I have torn down replication and am now rebuilding it on one of our servers. I am getting a "cannot allocate enough disk space" error when trying to create the distribution DB.
I have created a DB via management studio and EM - no probs. I open a new query and run a create database script, and again get the "could not allocate" ya de ya error, even though I am creating the db on the same disks/folders.
I am a domain admin and in the sysadmin server role.
Any ideas anyone?
They are SAN disks, but as I say, I can create no probs via either gui. I even create the db, script it out, delete it then run the script I have just created - error.
Not much hair left now......

Hmmm, it goes a little deeper:-
I can now create via the gui - dunno what suddenly happened, but it just started working.
Still get the error via sp_adddistributiondb though..

Never mind - I may get to the bottom of it if I have time.
I ended up creating the distribution db by hand and hacking sp_adddistributiondb to bypass the create database statement. I put it back afterwards, of course!!

Its odd though...
